Kimono it casual

               Kimono - River Island
Black crop top - River Island
Denim cut offs - The people vs
                         Bag - eBay
                   Sandals - primark
                 Sunglasses - RayBan

When England was blessed with warm and sunny weather a couple of weeks back, I managed to bring my 'the people vs' denim cut offs out to play.
I picked them up whilst in bali, they are a cool surf/skate inspired australian brand with some really unique pieces.
What drew me to the shorts were the distressed look and the fact that they aren't so short that half of your bum cheeks are on show, like most of the denim shorts you find over here.
They've also gotten lots of compliments, as has this beautiful kimono from river island.
The detail is beautiful and these pictures do not pick up just how beautiful the detailing actually is.
I'm definitely going through a kimono phase right now, what are you drawn to at the moment?

I'm also making a thing of getting my nails done at the moment, which really isn't like me at all but I'm kind of loving it!

Love love xx

Oxford OOTD

Last bank holiday weekend we took a little trip to oxford, walked around the parks and even went on a little bunting boat. The weather was gorgeous and oxford is just beautiful so I took the opportunity to take a little snap of my outfit amongst the beautiful scenery. I'm still obsessed with dungarees, they are so cute and easy to wear.

I also got a shellac manicure and went for this summery, lilac shade in 'lilac longing'.

                      Glasses - Rayban

Here's a little outfit of the day from when I was in Bali. I was lucky enough to spend a month out there throughout April and it totally lived up to my high expectations, it really is a beautiful place.

Before I left I couldn't resist picking up this gorgeous two piece. I'm really loving matching sets of clothing at the moment. They are so easy to wear and I love how you can mix and match them into other outfits as well. There are a few others I have my eye on but I must resist after returning from a month away my credit card is not my best friend at the moment.   Hope you like the outfit, whats your thoughts on matching two sets?

One dress, two ways

Hi, I am a little obsessed with Missguided at the moment and also a little obsessed with this dress!

First of all it's velvet... Say no more!
Secondly I love how versatile and easy to wear it is. In the pictures above I've styled it very casual with over the knee socks (you could also double layer and add tights under the socks) and a thick coat and scarf.

I feel it's a casual look whilst also making a bit of a statement with it being velvet and electric blue.

Whilst this dress looks cute as a casual outfit, it also looks pretty damn cute for a night out!

I've teamed it with my trusty river island boots and a slick of MAC 'up the amp' lipstick.

This lipstick is another obsession of mine at the moment and I love the slightly clashing contrast of the colour of the lipstick and the blue of the dress.

What have you been obsessing over recently?

Wrapped Up

Hi!

Its been so miserable here in England the past week or so, as it hasn't stopped raining and its so cold! I am very much indeed looking forward to some warmer weather.

Getting bored of my winter coats now so I pulled this khaki coat out of my wardrobe, which is very thin so I decided to layer it with (the also very thin) lace cardigan. I lived in this lace cardigan during the summer so it was nice to get some wear out of it even though its freeezing.
Looking back through these photos, I thought it had kind of a Free People vibe (maybe, I don't no, I wish) anyhow I really love Free People and if I could afford it I would have everything off of there website. If you are not aware of Free People you should definitely check them out.

I'm also still obsessed with my Dr.Martens and I'm even thinking of getting another pair of the more traditional lace up ones.

P.S Excuse the dirty old trainers in the back ground!

Hope you like the outfit xx

Guerlain 4 seasons

Welcome 2014!

My first post of the year is a review of the guerlain terracotta 4 seasons bronzer in moyen 05 brunette.
Who doesn't love a bronzer in the depths of winter, especially a bronzer as fabulous as this little beauty. Never before have I been so impressed with a product and so excited to use it.

First off the packaging is so beautiful and it even comes in its own little pouch. It is delicately scented which just adds to the luxurious feel and the consistency is so creamy which makes it super easy to blend.
The four shades means that you can use this bronzer in many ways whether for contouring, highlighting and even as an eyeshadow. In fact because the bronzer is completely matte I really love using it to contour.

Here's a swatch of all for colours, the furthest one being all four mixed together. Guerlain recomend using the top half of the bronzer during the winter as these two are the lightest shades and will give a subtle bronzed glow, during the spring they recommend using all four colours for a more intense colour.
Lastly during the summer when the skin is darker they recommend using just the bottom half of the palette for a dark summer glow.

Here I mixed all four together as I must admit I am a bit of a bronzer addict and even though we are unfortunately not yet blessed with spring weather I still love a tan!

The bronzer contains SPF 10 and is enriched with pure gold which gives the skin a gorgeous glow without using shimmer or glitter.

I've heard that every 30 seconds at least one terracotta bronzer is sold in the world and although at £46.50 it's pricey, it really doesn't surprise me. It's certainly the best bronzer I've ever used and I can see myself owning a few more geurlain bronzer's by the end of the year. I'm a fan for sure!

Do you have any guerlain products that you recomend?
