                                         Fall Essentials

The clocks have gone back, there's no denying it... British summer time is officially over.

Whilst it would be perfectly acceptable to spend your days hibernating under a heated blanket, hot chocolate in hand watching numerous amounts of box sets, ain't nobody got time for that!

Here are a few of my autumn/winter essentials...

Diptyque Cyprès Candle £40 190g/£20 70g

When its cold outside there's just nothing that beats coming home and lighting your favourite scented candle. The sight of candles instantly add an atmosphere to a room making it appear warmer and cosy, this diptyque candle is a particular favourite of mine. Its from their autumn range and really is perfect for this time of year, they describe the scent as warm tints of honey ensured by the Mediterranean.

EVE LOM TLC Radiance Cream £45

I find my skin tends to get very dull and lacks any kind of glow during the winter. I like to use a moisturiser that puts a bit of radiance back into my skin as well as hydrating. This is lovely as it's very light on the skin so it doesn't feel like it is clogging your pores, infused with the deeply precious oil of Bulgarian Rose Otto it gives instant radiance with long term results.

Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Hand Cream £13

I find myself always buying hand creams but never using them enough as I should. Laura Mercier creme brulee body moisturiser is my absolute favourite. The smell is just to die for!
So to try and encourage myself to look after my hands more I bought this smaller hand cream version. I have to say its worked and my hands are softer than ever. A good hand cream is essential during the colder months.

A flannel shirt is something so simple yet so versatile. I find myself reaching for my trusty shirt far too often than i should. I like to layer them over anything and everything and it just goes... dresses, camis,  tees, you name it i wear it. For this time of year they are perfect as by layering them over outfits it adds  warmth, which also means you can carry on wearing your favourite summer items for that little extra bit longer.

H&M Shirt £14.99

This H&M shirt is one of my go to's, it seems to go with everything and is perfect for layering.

Jacket Topshop (old)

As its suddenly got extra cold in the last couple of weeks I would just throw on a leather jacket and a pair of tights over this outfit and be good to go.

ASOS Faux Fur Collar £23.50 (sale)

Keeping with the layering theme, how perfect is this faux fur collar. I will be throwing this beauty over everything this winter.

These are my top picks for the new season, I would love to know yours!

                                                            Not Just For Halloween

hello!

Its that time of year again where its totally acceptable to walk around in full fancy dress and indulge in as many sweets and treats you can get your greedy little hands on.
Who wouldn't love this time of year... its one of the only things that gets me through the start of the ever impending long cold winter, dark nights and skin as dull as one of the ghosts that will be knocking on your door on Oct 31st!
I am a total sun searcher and enjoy nothing more than the summer months, however winter fashion is where its at!

The dark Gothic trend is everywhere this autumn/winter. what better way to embrace it than now!

Take a leaf out of Nicole Richie's book and rock the look with a pair of lace cat ears for a subtle Halloween twist.

This Topshop embellished high neck top will take you through winters party season whilst keeping on point with the glam goth trend
